Rob Quist


Rob Quist was the Democratic nominee for Montana's 2017 US House special election. His campaign gained national attention when he came close to pulling off a dramatic upset for a seat that's been held by Republicans for over 20 years. He grew up in Cut Bank, Montana, played basketball at the University of Montana, and co-founded the Mission Mountain Wood Band. Rob served for many years as a spokesman for the Montana Food Bank as well as serving on the board of the Montana Arts Council, working with the Office of Public Instruction on school programs and the Department of Commerce on Cultural Exchange Programs.
